Miles Davis purposely left all musician names off of the original 1972 album. The credits here reflect information from Sony Archival sources.

Variant with misprinted booklet: The inner pages of the booklet's cover show an unrelated table of contents of the CD "Johnny Mathis With Special Guest Natalie Cole – Unforgettable: A Musical Tribute To Nat King Cole" (CBS/Sony – 469437 2) with 11 tracks. It seems that Columbia checked this mistake at a point in time but did not want to discard the faulty booklet covers. So they added the "On the Corner" tracklist on the top half of the next page (page 3) before the liner notes begin. The belonging disc is Matrix/ Runout variant 1. It is not clear how many CDs and if Matrix/ Runout variant 2 of this release are affected by the booklet mistake too. If correct booklets are existing at all is also nebulous.
